The SAS® Revenue Optimization %TKMI_JOB_RO etl_end_service task might generate the following error in the MerchIntelGridSvr.log file:

(prod_hier_assoc_cd = 1) cannot find a product for sk <PROD_HIER_SK>
(level <STD_HIER_PROD_LVL>), therefore cannot add it to the hierarchy
(prod_hier_assoc_cd = 1) cannot find a product for sk <PROD_HIER_SK>
(level <STD_HIER_PROD_LVL>), therefore cannot add it to the hierarchy
This error occurs when the product identified as <PROD_HIER_SK> has a value for DI_DM.PRODUCT_DM.PROD_DISCONTINUED_DT that is less than DI_DM.PRODUCT_DM.PROD_INTRODUCTION_DT. This issue occurs when a STG_PRODUCT insert record (CHANGE_FLG = I) is sent for a PROD_ID that meets the following conditions:
- The PROD_ID already has an existing record in the data mart identified by <PROD_HIER_SK>.
- The data mart record does not have DI_DM.PRODUCT_DM.PROD_DISCONTINUED_DT populated.
- The STG_PRODUCT.PROD_INTRODUCTION_DT = DI_DM.PRODUCT_DM.PROD_INTRODUCTION_DT.
